Montanas Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness is a rough, feral stretch of the two mountain seriess from which it takes its name and over 940 thousand acres of sulk woody valleys, cold lakes and streams, and brutish-flower spotted alsulk tundra. Absarokas leafy forests are home to endangered and threatened brutishlife, like wolves, eagles and Grizzly Bears, while Montanas tallest mountain, Mt. stone, soars among the rough plateaus and serrated peaks of the Beartooth series.

There are 700 miles of brutisherness trails to scramble in Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness. No powered vehicle or bikes are allowted. Visitors can camp in one of the 6 USFS campgrounds, lodge in the close city of Red cabin, or camp in the backcountry with a allow. Fishing and hunting is allowted in designated areas.
